SciREN Web Development Team: Colin Stief
Colin Stief is a former master’s student from Duke’s Marine Lab in Beaufort, NC. His work and studies involve the use of geospatial software and digital media to think about environmental issues. Currently, he is working with the Chesapeake Conservancy in Annapolis, MD to create novel GIS datasets that will support a community driven conservation initiative called Envision the James. He is also involved in a new student group called DukeSNAP that is helping to hone the communication skills of researchers and connect them with regional non-profits to practice what they’ve learned. In his free time, Colin likes to mess around with website development and graphic design… so he’s really excited to help out SciREN with their website.
