SciREN San Diego

*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all 2020 SciREN San Diego events will be held virtually.*

SciREN-San Diego events will consist of: 

1) September 22: A lesson plan writing workshop for scientists to learn how to prepare their scientific ideas for the K-12 classroom and adhere to state and national educational standards. This will be virtually and ~2-3 hours. This is optional for educators who would like to help researchers draft lesson plans.

2) November 9 (4-6pm PT): The main event: a researcher / educator networking event, which allows for direct interface between the scientists and educators. This will be virtual and ~2-3 hours. 

3) Additional optional opportunities for virtual class visits, curriculum development, and future collaborations.
